1. How did you pick the title for your books?
The titles of my books are chosen by Harlequin and they always come up with better ones than I had.

2. How did you choose the setting for your books?
When I first get an idea for a story, I see the image in mind, like a film on pause and the setting comes with it. After that, the characters and story guide me for other settings.

3. How did you come up with the names for your heroes and heroines?
Sometimes I have to go searching for inspiration and other times the name comes from somewhere. For instance, Destiny was a name I heard on the radio and I knew instantly it would be perfect for my troubled sheikh hero.

4. What makes your heroes irresistible?
They are strong, commanding, successful and sexy, but always show the reader and eventually the heroine something that gives them an emotional and sensitive heart.

5. Share some random facts about yourself...
I like to have music in the background as I write.
I love to read historical fiction, especially those set in Elizabethan England, a period in history which has always fascinated me.

6. Your advice to new writers.
It took me eight years to achieve my dream of publication and during that time I held onto my dream, despite the rejections which go hand in hand with writing. However nothing is ever wasted as at the very least we learn from it and grow as writers.

Tell us about your book...
To back up my advice to new writers that nothing ever written is wasted, this story was first written during my years as an unpublished writer, but the characters stayed with me even after their story was rejected. They demanded that I wrote it again and I’m so glad I did.

Destiny Richards is offered a deal by Sheikh Zafir al Asmari that will enable her to escape the domination of her father. She travels to the Shiekh’s kingdom to use her horsemanship skills to work with his troubled stallion but finds that it is not just the horse that is living with the terror of the tragedy which claimed the life of the Zafir’s sister, it is the man himself.

Zafir cannot ignore the passion between them and indulges in one last affair before selecting the bride duty dictates he must take, but when that decision has to be made there is only one woman he wants. Destiny - his Last Mistress.
