Thank you so much for having me today.   As a debut author, it’s been so nice to be embraced by such a kind group of bloggers.  You’ve made me feel truly welcome!

 

ELSKER, Book One in THE ELSKER SAGA, follows twenty-year-old Kristia Tostenson as she leaves her small town to find adventure at Cardiff University in Wales.  Kristia gets a lot more than she bargained for when she falls in love with Ull Myhr.  He’s not just a grad student -- he’s an Asgardian Assassin and the Norse God of Winter.  Kristia’s orderly life is about to get seriously complicated.

 

Since I’m head over heels for my hunky hero, I thought I’d share:

 

Five Things I Love About Ull Myhr.

 

1. He’s gorgeous.  Let’s start with the obvious.  He’s tall, graceful, ridiculously muscular.  (Well, not ridiculously muscular, since Ull could never look ridiculous.  Ever.)  He has a strong jaw, piercing blue eyes, and a shock of blonde hair that flops adorably over one eye when he’s distracted.  Unless you’re not into smoking hot Norse gods, there’s really nothing not to like.

 

2. He’s a great dresser.  Who among us does not appreciate a fit man in a tight cashmere sweater?  And Ull’s got no shortage of cashmere, thanks to his fashion-obsessed, Norse goddess friend, Inga.  She’s made it her personal mission in this realm to make sure nothing in Ull’s closet ever gathers dust, all the while hoping he’ll meet a nice girl.  Ull’s collection of tight sweaters, dark jeans, and perfectly shined shoes make him irresistible to the Cardiff University coeds.  Inga’s plan is working perfectly.

 

3. He has a country home in the Cotswolds.  Ýdalir is the peaceful cottage in the English Countryside I only wish I had.  My dream home, in more ways than one.  Throw in the Norse god, some amazing Norwegian waffles, and a good cup of tea, and it’s practically heaven.

 

4. He fights for what he believes in.  Ull is a fierce Asgardian Assassin.  He’s served as a Warrior of Asgard, and is ranked #2 in Total Kills in the realm, behind his stepdad, Thor.  He’ll do whatever it takes to protect the people he loves, no matter what it costs him.

 

5. He adores his grandma.  Ull dotes on Olaug, and he’s positively giddy whenever she makes her special Norsk waffles for him.  What’s that, you say?  You want to snag your own Norse god with delicious homemade waffles?  Good thing I’ve included Olaug’s recipe at the end of ELSKER.  *winks*  For an unexpected twist, try using Nutella instead of a tart jam.  It’s not traditional, but isn’t everything better with Nutella?
