Nas Dean talks to Romantic Times award winning author Soraya Lane.
What do you love most about writing for Harlequin Romance?
I
love that my job is to create happy endings! Honestly, there’s nothing not to
love about being an author, writing emotional romance stories for a living J
What do you think makes a good story?
I love a story that really makes me feel like I’m
part of it – one I can really become lost in and stay up all night reading. If
I fall in love with the characters then I’ll fall in love with the story.
Who is Soraya Lane?
I’m
a wife with a fantastic husband, and I’m a mom to a very busy toddler, as well
as two dogs and four horses. I love reading, writing, horseback riding and just
hanging out at home.
Anywhere you haven’t travelled you would like to go?
I’d
love to travel to America and through Europe. We sacrificed travelling to buy
our dream property – a small farm in our hometown – but one day we’ll be
jumping on a plane and discovering new places!
What one item do you always pack when you travel?
Oooh,
just one?! I couldn’t travel without a good book (yes, I still prefer a
paperback!) and my make-up bag. With all my make-up in it of course J
Tell us a little about your current release …..
The
Navy SEAL’s Promise is about a gorgeous Navy SEAL and a strong yet feminine
soldier, both on their way back to America from deployments. Snow closes the
airport they’re landing at, meaning Saskia can’t get to her young son for the
48hr leave she managed to secure for Christmas, and of course there’s only one
person who can come to the rescue… gorgeous SEAL Luke Gray.
A night in the airport, a long drive
that turns to passion in the back of an army vehicle, and a happy ending…
The Navy SEAL's Promise is available in ebook format exclusively from Amazon. Click here to purchase!
Soraya would also love to giveaway an ebook copy of The Navy SEAL's Promise today - leave a comment and go in the draw to win! The only condition is that the lucky winner post an honest review on either Amazon or Goodreads after reading it.
Thanks for having me here today Nas! Looking forward to picking a winner...

I love reading books you could live in. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat interview!
Thanks Golden!
DeleteI love living inside books. When I come out from a story, I feel refreshed and able to tackle my own worlds in my stories. Hey Nas, Riya! Great giveaway Soraya. Sorry I'm late. My blog was hacked into itty bitty pieces. *sigh* It takes me an hour just to log in so I can post and comment. I'm deleting it and moving to Word Press after October blogging commitments.
ReplyDeleteHugs Robyn on all your Blogger problems. Thanks for coming by!
DeleteIt's wonderful seeing Soraya again on the blogosphere (I read about her yesterday) and I have a copy of her book.
