Intro - I'm the author of Harlequin Mills & Boon Medical Romance

My life - I have a recent college grad daughter who just moved back to town for her new job (woohoo!), a son in college, and my 'baby' is in high school. When I'm not juggling writing with family life, I play piano, garden and love to cook (and eat!).

Influences - I loved reading Harlequin romances as a teen, and am so excited to be writing them now! I also adored the old gothic romances by Victoria Holt and Mary Stewart, and historicalsby Georgette Heyer back then. Now I love reading all kinds of romances by amazing authors too numerous to count.

How I write - I'm not a plotter, but I've learned I have to have some kind of roadmap of turning points to aim for. So when I'm first starting a book, I come up with an idea, think hard about who my characters are, what they want, and what's going to get in the way of them getting it. Then I come up with what's going to happen at the beginning, about a quarter through, then the middle, and a big black moment.  After I feel like I've got those bones in place, I dive in!

Motivation - This is a question I'm not always sure about! :-)  I guess it must  be that I have to for some reason, because I've had an awful lot of what seemed like good reasons to stop, but still keep at it in spite of them.

Her Greek Doctor's Proposal

The question he thought he'd never ask…

Archaeologist Laurel Evans put her career on hold to care for her younger sisters. Now, close to achieving her goals, she won't let anything distract her. Laurel has come to Delphi to dig up ancient treasures, but she finds a modern-day Greek god instead—local doctor Andros Drakoulias!

A devoted single dad, Andros is determined to give his little girl stability. He knows his fling with Laurel can't last, so why is it so hard to imagine a future without her by his side?

    1. I read Harlequins all the time as a teen too, Medeia. Which makes it all the more fun for me that I write them now! I still remember some of the stories well - sure wish I'd kept some!
