Let's Meet Danica Avet and Giveaways!

Please welcome author Danica Avet as she answers some questions and she has giveaways!

Danica Avet was born and raised in the wilds of South Louisiana where mosquitoes are big enough to carry off small children and there are only two seasons: hot and hotter. With a BA in History, she figured there were enough fry cooks in the world and decided to try her hand at writing. When she isn't writing, working or contemplating the complexities of the universe, she spends time gathering inspiration from her insane family, reads far more than any sane person would want to and watches hot, burly men chase an oblong ball all over a field.

Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.

Because who doesn’t love a book about a pair of best friends who deny their feelings only to succumb to lust neither of them expected?

What was your favorite scene to write?

Oh it had to be the “truck” scene. The entire scene was hot and exciting.

What is your dream cast for your book?

Jason Statham would make an amazing Sin Rivas. Oh man! He’s got the looks, the muscles and that air of danger I love my heroes to have.

As for Taylor Guillory… Hmm, that’s a little tougher. Kate Hudson! She just has a presence and spirit I like.

What are you working on now?

I’m working on the first book in my post-apocalyptic erotic romance called Sharp Edge of Pleasure. It’ll be out sometime this fall.

Tell us a little bit about your book...

Born to Sin is the second book in my Southern Sin series which is a spinoff of my Crushes to Cravings series. They all take place in a small south Louisiana town called Grand Terre. I didn’t start out with the intentions of writing about the Guillory girls, but with the 2nd book in the Crushes to Cravings series, I knew I had to give them stories as well.

Taylor is the youngest Guillory girl, the tomboy who prefers cars and sports to shopping and dressing up. She’s comfortable in that role, except when it comes to her best friend and fellow car lover, Sinclair Rivas. He’s a legend in Grand Terre, but she’s the only one who knows him well. She just wishes he’d see her as something other than a friend and when her wishes are finally answered due to a daring plan, Taylor gets more than she bargained for.

Born to Sin is part of this multi-book boxed set,
Brought To His Knees
The Alpha male. Strong. In control. Letting no one and nothing rule him…until he meets the one, and all bets are off. The world tilts, the bed rocks, and suddenly that tough guy finds himself Brought to His Knees—in more ways than one.

This collection of ten hot to erotic novellas and one short erotic novel will take you on journeys of lust, love, and adventure, leave you breathless and quite possibly in need of a cold shower.

  6. It's always tougher to cast your books when you write for children! There aren't too many child actors who are household names these days.
