Helen Lacey on her Blog Tour with a Giveaway!

Today I asked debut author Helen Lacey to come back and tell us about her journey around the blogosphere- but she came bearing gifts!
So over to Helen now....

It’s Been  A Great Party . . .

After many weeks on the blogging road, my party for Made For Marriage is winding down. But it’s been great fun and I’ve had the chance to connect and meet so many lovely readers and fellow authors along the way.

With readers, it’s struck me how passionate you all are about books. And particularly about romance books. I was twelve years old when I read my first Mills & Boon novel and I have been hooked ever since. I love the escapism, the happy-ever-after’s, the feisty heroines and heroes I can fall that little bit in love with for a few hours. I also love the sense of family and community that readers can find in a Harlequin novel, particularly in the pages of a Special Edition, which is why I’m so happy to be writing for that line.

UK release of MADE FOR MARRIAGE
Amongst other authors I’ve found support, friendship and many kindred spirits. My journey towards publication was a long one. It took twenty three years from the time of my first submission, and eighteen rejections later before I got the call in November 2010. So, to aspiring authors I can only say, don’t give up. The dream can be realized and the prize in definitely worth all the angst and waiting and the many disappointments along the way. When a door closes, a window opens.

Over the past six weeks I’ve been able to share stories about some of the things that are important to me, like my love of horses and the beautiful part of the world where I live. And of course I’ve been able to share Made For Marriage. Book two will be released later this year, and book three in early 2013 and they follow with stories about the people of Crystal Point, a small town very much like the one where I live. Books four and five are just about to go to my editor, so I will keep up with news about them on my website at www.helenlacey.com –and I’d love you to stop by and leave a message on my Guestbook page if you get a chance.

And a special thanks to Nas for hosting such a great party. She is the queen of Blog Tours!

I’ll be giving away a copy of Made For Marriage to one commenter today. And the grand prize, of a $50.00 Amazon gift card and for those who like a little bling, a fabulous silver Pandora bracelet, will be announced at Romance Book Paradise and on my website in a couple of days time.

Thanks to everyone who has stopped by on my tour and left a comment. I wish you all the best of luck with the grand prizes! Happy reading J

Equestrian Callie Jones was used to difficult parents at her riding school. But Noah Preston took the cake.

How dare he question her teaching abilities, after his headstrong daughter paid no heed to rules—her teacher's or her father's?

Single dad Noah was ready to apologize for overreacting. But he wasn't sorry for the way the stunning American riding instructor made him feel. And he soon learned that there was more to Callie than her smarts, sass and fire: a shattered heart that threatened to splinter even further. Could he make her see that he—and his family—were for keeps?
